Do you treat your online concern as a concern? At the beginning of each new month, do you take the time to review your results from the previous month and plan your goals for the coming month? They say that to bring home a win, you need to start with the end in mind. Where will YOU be at the end of this month?
As you sit down to plan, give some thinking to what it is that you would like to achieve. What does that look like? What activity do you need to accomplish in order to reach that goal?
To take your concern to the next level, reckon scheduling a monthly goal setting session at the beginning of each month. Take your tracking sheets, calendar and paperwork to your favorite cafe and review your accomplishments and reflect on what you’ve erudite during the past month.
During this time you may also want to reflect on what you could have done differently or more of. Then set your goals for the coming month and turn this into a mathematics formula. For instance, if you know that for every three presentations you do that you’ll close one sale and your goal is to close or inscribe one new individual each workweek, then doing the mathematics; three calls a workweek for the four weeks of the month, you will need to do a minimum of twelve presentations a month or three a workweek.
If you also know, based on your numbers and your track record, that you need to reach at least three people on the phone to generate one presentation, then in order to reach your goal of doing three presentations a workweek, you will need to talk with nine people.
This is all well and good but in order to permit your dream to go a world, you’ll want to actually schedule when it is that you’ll be making these phone calls and who you will be calling each day. It is not always possible to know ahead of time who you will meet but it is always possible for you to go through your database and jot down the name of the people you’ll be calling or following up with during your scheduled phone calling time.
So recall to plan your work and work your plan - you are only a conclusion away from your next promotion! Begin with the end in mind and reckon where you want be by the end of the month.
